I always look forward to having my breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day as it keeps your metabolism in check and revs it up for the rest of the day. I believe its always important to have a good and substantial breakfast so you don’t pig out during lunch and just grab every food item you see due to your raging hunger pangs :p
One place that I frequent when time permits and when I just wanna chill and go to a mall not overly-crowded is here!
This place offers great value-for-money daily breakfast and tea-time sets from only RM3.90+ onwards!
My mum, being a person who doesn’t believe in paying exorbitant prices for food (unless its really THAT good) frequents this place because it is really worth the price you pay for.
One thing I never fail to have when I come here, is their hot teh-tarik which comes with a slice of butter biscuit! The taste and aroma of the tea is just right..dip the biscuit into the tea and ahhhhh…. VOILA!
I usually always have their kaya and butter toast with omega half boiled eggs, RM5.90+ (being the typical Malaysian!)
The kaya and butter toast here is so nice and crispy with pretty generous serving of kaya. It’s so much better than the ones in Old Town White Coffee which in my opinion, is so measly due to the fact they’re so stingy with the kaya and the toast bread is tiny I can finish it in 3 bites!
See the kaya!!!!!
(Btw, kaya is basically made out of eggs and gula melaka.. absolutely yummy!)
The typical me loves her half-boiled eggs yellow and runny :D
Add soy sauce and pepper, mix it and DRINK it! Ooh, and dip the toast with the eggs! Ooh lala!
This was our first time ordering the Sunny Side Up with Sausage, RM5.90+. Nothing special, I reckon I can cook this as well :)
I’ve also tried their Roti Jala with Curry Chicken, RM6.90+, Nasi Lemak, RM5.90+ and Toast with Otak-otak, RM5.90+ in my previous visits here (yes, I’ve been here countless amount of times, hehe) and they were pretty okay too! The main meals here though, aren’t all that great so try at your own risk :p
This place is good if you’re craving for typical Malaysia fare and want a break from the typical English tea with scones :)
With value-for-money sets, it’s really worth trying!
Address:
2nd Floor, Tropicana City Mall.

Otak-otak my favorite, esp the grilled version. You are right on the price of the food here, worth trying.
